I guess I just don't understand why people don't have secured connections. You need like a twenty character password to get onto our account. I don't want to pay for other people's internet.

its because your general person that is told needs a router will go buy a cheap one, hook it up, and most are preconfigured to go. So they dont bother to enter a password, or even know they need one.

It used to be known as "dumpster diving" now its "yard standing with a laptop and wireless transceiver". I get a funny image when I think about that.
