We won't just like their are vets and elderly people who still mark December 7th. But think about the younger people (30's, 40's, and even 50's) how many of them just don't realize it when the 7th comes around. Like I said given enough time this tragedy will just fade away until it is nothing more than pieces of paper in a book some where in a public school and maybe a stature that no one knows why it is even there.

I'm curious to see if CNN is going to be paying tribute to 9/11 today.

I'm expecting: "One disaster at a time, please, we're still working on Katrina."

I understand that. I coworker's son had his birthday yesterday and he didn't want to celebrate it because he couldn't imagine celebrating on such a horrible day.

I didn't even think of that. I think they'll wait a good long time because they'll recieve a lot of flack from it now. They came out with games after Desert Storm but that's because they never touched US soil and we simply kicked their butts in only 100 hours.

LoL that would no go very well with the right wing. They already have games based on terrorism but nothing quite like 9/11 to my knowledge.

yeah i know... they did make the desert conflict one in such a short time, thats what made me think of it in the first place... i mean that was still occuring in the real world when that game was made, i just thought that was asenine... I dont think theyll be making games about it anytime soon, im just saying, i dont think it will be that long... everyone knows how touchy vietnam and ww2 were, and they made games, what, like 40/60 years or less after it occured? Its just kinda sad to see they make games about such touchy subjects

they made it 40-60 years later because computers didn't even come close to existing to the public. and even then you couldn't play games for **** up until 10 years ago and even then graphics sucked *****.

I realize every year when Pearl Harbor rolls around, and celebrate it in the proper fashion... After all , its my birthday.

And I agree with you on how it will become lnot so 'huge' in 50 years. In fact, even this year it, most people dodn't even realize it had passed. I remember in 02 on 9/11, I worked and the stores were completely empty and deserted and everyone stayed at home. This year was just business as usual.
