Like most V8 domestic owners , they too love american muslce. Not once did I get any ignorant comments about supposid inferior quality domestic cars. This talking comes from this nation (north america). Theres alote of B/S talk on these forums that I rarely hear in person. The problem with domestic auto makers is they concentrated on trucks for way to long and practically ignored cars. 10 imports in the USA per 1 domestic is a load of bullshit. GM alone sold 4.66 million cars in the United States in 2004. Even the mighty toyota sold 6.71 million vehicles WORLDWIDE.

SuprAdam yeah lets compare it to your turd and see what happens...
Compare what to my car?
A stock late 80's camaro to a stock late 80's supra? I am busting you ***** old man, relax.

I own an 86.5, (thats the non-turbo only year ), it wouldn't be a fair comparison.

And hey, stealthy boy, you are finally getting things right around here.

First of all, i didnt say about GM, you're already overprotective of GM, i never said GM is , and second, i meant that you cant really compare a civic to a camaro cause they are really not in the same class, (i didnt realize it was meant to be a joke when i was reading the post).

I said that there are 10 japanese cars in the states for every american vehicle in JAPAN. cause it would be pretty sad if GM couldnt outsell the imports in the states. I was just pointing out the fact that there are a lot more japanese cars in the states than american cars in japan.

How about anything that's not regulary talked about on here. Lets say a Mazda RX3. Or how about a Volvo 164e? Or how about a Saab? Or lets say a Chevy Monza? Or how about a Chevette with a 3.8l v6 swap? There's no need for everyone to own a Civic, or a Golf, or a Cavalier. , there are millions of different cars, but no one is willing to be that creative. Most people would just rather buy a normal car, and swap in something easy.

Importing cars from Japan for rediculous prices, when they could have bought many other japanese cars here and modded them far beyond the capabilities of the imported car for the price.

But being different comes at a cost I suppose.
