Anyone here have a carfax account? i need my vin numbers ran... I'm starting to believe my car was wrecked... the obvious evidence is there.. ill get into detail if anyone has one but the dealer told me it wasnt.. i think it was wrecked so i want to get them under false pretenses.

When you signed for the car the bank should have given a paper saying the car was reconditioned.

The signs to me that make it look like it was wrecked is... The whole front of the car back to the doors looks like it was just painted it shines more than the rest of the car and there is no scraches on it but if you look at the doors there are them sort of like fine scraches from like where it meets the front fenders all the way back to the end of the doors, there is touch up paint on the bottom of the drivers side door. There are scraches on the t-tops,whidshield looks brand new allmost. glass on the mirrors are scraches a lil. And the one taillight is cracked in the corner..

I found the thing that went in the window when it was new like the options and all....and i am the second owner, the paper is from a dealer in brooklyn new york, so i dont now if id be able to get in touch with the last owner?

call the dmv, tell them your suspecting the car was wrecked, they should be able to tell if it was totaled (just like car fax) if it was a minor accident it may not show anywhere (only if the made a police report would it be on file, and you'd need their name and address to even start to look)

Yes Carfax wont always tell you everything. I know for a fact that Epic rear ended someone before i bought her but was minor and it was fixed. Ran a carfax and it never said anything about it. Althought it did tell me she was a company car before me.

I ran one on my civic and it came up clean and I got a letter from teh state of MI saying it had a salvage title and they issued me the wrong one. a year later car fax had it, but that did me no good I traded the civic for teh bravada though so I guess it worked out
