Bending it yourself is NOT easy. Its really hard to get bends precise and looking clean.

I'd just pay the money honestly.

I dont want flimsy metal though. I want something thicker. Stuff you cant cut with shears.

its actually not flat across....it curves down towards the sides.

plus like i said I want something thicker....I could probably have the sheet metal guys at work do it if i found the dimensions.

They make a black one too but I think the aluminum will look better

I do sheet metal work at school and welding, but I dont think I could replicate that.

Oh yeah I think that would look good. With your new engine you just need to make sure clean it up a little with a little less ghetto rigging. LOL
