15.3? Funny my old '89 ran 14.0 with a cone air filter and 10psi.
87-92 supra turbo runs 14.7-15.0 in the 1/4, depending on options, year and driver. Mid 13's with cone filter, exhaust and 12-15psi.
Care to run my current one with your almighty z24 in the summer? Mine is even an 86.5, first year of the mk3 chassis, only available non-turbo. I pinky promise it is stock. The n/a mk3's run mid-high 16's I believe.

heres an idea. maybe you should stop keyboard racing your heap with numbers you pulled off google.
line up a stock mk3 supra T with any z24, even one with bolt ons, and the mk3 will walk over jbod like its standing still. the longer the run, the wider the margin will increase. even a stock mk3 will pull twice as hard from the cav from 100+
if you know so much about cars as you claim, how the did you end up with a cavalier? i cant think of anyone who would make an educated decision in favour of a cavalier. you either dont know about cars and buy a cav, or dont care what you drive, and buy a cav. unless youre driving your parents car, and the thought of beating economy car civics, on paper no less, comforts you.
do everyone a favour, and come out in the spring/summer with that cav of yours. track or street, your choice. ill pair you up with some torqueless wonder honda's, we will see what kind of beating, if any, you can hand out.

Why is it that j-body owners and GM in general only want to race quarter mile,Sure you're j-body may have close numbers to the supra in quarter mile,Let's get that j-body on a road course and see who really gets owned.
A stock honda civc 1.5lt would beat a j-body(z24) on any road course,Their big, their heavy and they turn like slop

Okay frist off
Track driving is about the driver. You can't really compare track times unless they have the same driver.
A Z24 can be a good track car. I know there is a guy who runs one in SOLO 1 and is very competive within his class. But I do not think they are good cars. I don't think any FWD car is good.
A Supra is not a good track car either the MK 4 was the heavy weighing close to 3800LBS it is just to much mass for a serious track car great Drag car as the motor can make good power, I would take a 03+ cobra over it though. The MKIII turbo or not IMO is a hunk of junk as are most car's from that period.

But i am curious.

Who cares if they don't hold there values. Why buy a new car to mod? I would buy used save some cash and mod it.

yup bs on this, you wont get that much second gear rubber or spin the tires straight through first on a stock 02. unless of course your running a superjunk tire. you wanna see tire spinning ill take you for a ride in my cav and show you what a hard shift does into third gear, lets just say it leaves about 40 feet of black mark behind me, thats spinning, not just getting the tires to barely edge themselves out of traction.
oh and your from the falls, then youve probably seen my car, red turbo 97 z.
what engine is yours holding? 2.4 or ecotec since they were both optioned for that year depending on when the car was made.

oh and im always game for a 100lph roll on with an mk3, of course since ive only got bolt ons ill get walked twice as hard, but id love to try, so find me a stock one and ill bring a camera man

i dont have a mk3, i was merely restating what blackout was saying.
you dont have a bolt on z24, so keep dreaming. either way, if you want to run me, a 260whp cav certainly wont cut it.

i didnt say to bring your mk3, i said bring me an mk3, you said an mk3 would walk a bolt on cavy. the only thing on my car that isnt a bolt on is the hole in my oil pan for the return line, everything else is a bolt on, the manifold, the turbo, evreything is bolted onto the car without modification, therefore it can be considered a bolt on.
funny, 260 whp wasnt enough for me either, ill have plenty more this year
oh one more thing, dont be so quick to assme that my car wont hold its own, im sure youve got all the big supra mods bpu++-++-+++++ or whatever you fellas call them, but my cars got alot of suprises in it, including the addition of a new short geared tranny for this year and a 2700 pound curb weight. not startin but bjust saying, dont be so quick to judge my car
