I have had so many strange experinces selling cars over the years like idiots that want to take the car and make payments etc etc . The best or worst depending how you look at it was the guy who told me if i dropped the price another 200 bucks on a Ford Ranger i was selling he would let me bang his girlfriend .

when i was selling my 90 civic hatch i had it listed at $1800 i think.. it was in pritty good condition..couple things done 2 it and it had a ZC motor in it with low km.. and i was gettin stupid phone calls about it from guys claiming to only need it to deliver pizza so he'll give me $500 for it, i laughed at them... he even said "well take down my number and call me when you will sell it for $500" ... i said "not happening" i think he called back 2 more times still offering 500.

I remember adding my email address in my Trader.ca ad BAD FREAKIN IDEA!!! At least 5 kids asking for pics so they could add them to there lame cardomain website or some useless **** like that.
Also have you guys ever received calls from OTHER companies trying to get you to put ADS in there website or the infamous one.
"hey i saw your ad in the trader. were a company that if you pay us $150 and we don't sell your car in one month you get your money back and we will get someone to buy the car at your asking price." my callback number if you change your mind is 403-xxx-xxxx" (Calgary) I got so fed up i actually started ranting on the phone that your companies a bunch of theives and your trying to steal customers from your competitor. When did the trader turn into Bell Canada?

I got call from this one dick who kept pressing me. Telling me they're bigger than Autotrader, trader cant sell my car for me and only they can.
He called me about 5 times begging me to put the on his crap website.
Same deal, $150 and the add stays forever until the car sells. They even help people finance. Some story.
I cant remember the name of the website, but it was out of the West end of Canada.
In the end, he told me to go take my car to the scrap yard and hung up on me. LMAO :thumbsup: What a douchebag.

HAHA Yup same deal. West Coast, not even in the same province, very rude and pushy, hard to get off the phone. I told them to F off literally... i was so pissed off. wish i could remember the company name i wrote it down but it was a long *** time ago.

When i sold my first car using autotrader, i was selling it for under 2 g's. You can guess what kinds of people started calling, i ended up selling it for 1250 to the first guy that made sense in english.
3 no shows this weekend. 1 show up interested but failed, 1 needs to talk to his mom. LOL
