dealerships aren't much better, when i was doing my coop at bmw autohaus i saw tech kicking tires off m3's, when a gentle pry with a prybar would have done just fine. one guy even got angry at me for not kicking the tires off the car because its "faster". to the techs, time is money, they don't care about your vehicle, and thats why i do all the work on my own car.
