But you've never driven my car, or put in the work / money into it that I have. So yes, I assume you could.

Yes your right, I know the feeling of getting rid of something I put a lot of work into. But I allways look at the big picture of starting over with something new that could potentially be better like upgrading to a bigger engine, nicer car etc etc. I am just saying for 11K its a great deal you wont find many more people to buy it for that much reguarless of how much money and time you have into it.

I'm currently working on selling my formula soon to buy a suv, i know for a fact I wont get as much money for it as I paid for but I want to upgrade and yes going from a ls1 muscle car to a suv is upgrading for me its more applicable for my life right now.

I have a friend that every time he finishes a car how he wants it, he sells it and buys another. It drives me nuts, but the building is what he likes

The only reason I want an LS1 is to see what I could do with it. I've been told that the numbers I make, and times I run with my 3.8 is pretty impressive considering the motor. So i'd just like to see how i'd do with a v8, if I do end up getting one, i'll be rebuilding the motor and doing a cam swap that same week im sure.

In the end, do what's better for you, we can all sit here and give you advice but only you know if it's worth it. You should already know if you're ready to move on to another car and done with this one, IMO.

I had the kid come in today so I could talk to him about the possibility of me selling him the car. We chatted for a while, and after that, I dont think im going to sell it to him (his dad, but you get my meaning). Hes a little too immature, and I couldnt in good conscience let him drive something I know hes going to abuse, and possibly get hurt in. I dont know how i'd live with myself if he killed himself in my car.

I really want to sell it, but I just cant sell it to him. I told his dad that I might in a few years. He was very understanding about it all, and he knows my fears about it.

Besides, when the kid almost yells "Its got NAWZZ??!!" I wanted to bitch slap him. He made up my mind for me lol.

I am glad i drove my 3.4 for about a year and a half (two winters) taught me alot about rear wheel drive, respecting a cars power (although not much), Driving in the winter with RWD and alot of other stuff like cookies in the parking lots but still none the less i am very glad i went that route. except i wish i would have gotten a nicer one so i wouldn't of had to sell it. But now after owning it in about three years or less (depends on $$$$$) i want to get a GTO or 94-96 Z28 we will see how it all works out.

Sorry for the ranbling but i never once got a ticket with that car. Taught me alot about respecting the laws and such too. All my frineds with their POS cars thought they were cool till they got pulled over haha that's great okay i am done rambling sorry

I understand where you're at, I had a ton of money in my '94 Camaro but I don't regret getting rid of it so I could my LS1 for a second. There's just no comparision.
I also understand not wanting to sell it to an imature kid that will not keep it up and/or crash it but personally money talks more than anything else for me.
