Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir

Thoughts on this? Super Bowl weekend, UFC 81. I'm going with Lesnar, even though Mir has been in MMA for a lot longer. I don't think Mir stands a chance of trying to submit someone with Lesnars background, and knocking Lesnar out, well, not so much.

See, I saw that match between Lesnar and Min Soo Kim. It was pathetic. I've never seen anyone in UFC manhandle another fighter the way Lesnar beat that guy. However, I want to see Lesnar take on someone who is someone, not a 2 and 5 fighter. Tim Sylvia doesn't stand a chance against Brock, and I can't wait to see that fight, provided like you said, Lesnar can take a punch.

it was pretty pathetic, noone taps out while getting punched in the head on the ground, and it wasnt even a ground n pound, just simple shots, so we'll see what happens, hes a big guy, and i'v never seen a guy that big with the flexabity he has so he should be alright

Well, he was like 104 wins, and 5 losses, IIRC in NCAA wrestling, and yeah, he's fast, and he's got the flexibility, that you don't normally see in big wrestlers. I can't wait to see him take on someone who can fight back. The fight with Min Soo Kim was pathetic, but I think Min Soo Kim realized, when he was getting hit, that there was no way he was getting out of Lesnar's way.

he fought a can in K1 Heroes. min soo kim is a nobody. Mir will be a good test for brock, as long as the old Mir shows up. Brock will not be as big as he was in K1, K1 has no drug testing. i say mir by submission. because i dislike brock lesnar so much, i would absolutely love to see brock take on Kimbo Slice.

mir has been shitty since the bike accident, i see him loosing to lesner. although i could see kimbo beating lesners ***. unless it hits the ground, then its gonna be tough, lesner is gonna be a better ground fighter but hes gotta take kimbo down first

Yeah, Joe Rogan interviewed him, I think in UFC 79, and Brock announced that he had in fact signed a UFC contract. If you use google video, you can find his first MMA match, vs Min Soo Kim. It's pathetic though.
