i was just curious about what people think about whats going on down there, i think that if that was me and a gang of people block the roads then we would be put in jail ASAP. i think that it is BS that they can get away with shuting down some of the town because they don't like the way there so called land is divided up. i not bring this up to make but was just woundering why people should have to put up with this. i say go get a job and become a productive member of society. just my two cents

I think its awful the way that native Indians were treated in Canada in the past but natives still act like they have a chip on their shoulder and that the world owes them something despite all of the reparations and special preferences from our government. Nothing will ever be enough for them.

Regarding the present situation in Caledonia; apparently some land lease was singed in the late 1700’s and now it has long expired and they claim the land. This all seems fine and reasonable, however they only realize that they have a claim nearly 200 years later and now that a multimillion dollar subdivision is well under way?!?!? Quite convenient and definitely not a coincident that they suddenly now decide to assert their claims. How about doing that before construction started when the land was being rezoned. Claiming one was unaware is plainly absurd because by law land rezoning is advertised very explicitly throughout the community in question and is public knowledge. This compounded with that fact that the precise terms of the original lease are quite ambiguous. Then again the developer should have anticipated something like this as the land in question has been disputed in the past.

what ****'s me off is the natives dont pay tax..on anything...cheap gas they get paid to go to school (highschool) and college and such is paid for plus they get paid to go....like wtf is that...plus the millions the goverment gives them in general.....WHAT ****'S ME OFF MORE is the fact they can block roads pull down hydro towers attack whites and nothing happens...but when the whites make a road block and yell they get arrested its complete and utter bullshit .....big brawl this morning there the cops just grap the white people and throw them but do nothing to the natives is so one sided.....the opp are doing nothing just keep saying " keep the peace "...some native lady attacked a guy video taping and he said he wanted to press charges....the cops grabbed him took him aside and said "keep the peace"......oh well the people of caledonia have been patient enough..... its only gonna get crazier

Who cares about what the natives do. They werent even the first people to set foot here anyway. There was a body found that dates before any native settler going back to serbia. But we all know how well that will boil over. Natives dont phase me much and some of there woman are pretty hot when there young.Let them battle it out id rather see them protesting about something then a bunch of east indians in taxi cabs blocking off the person airport. At least they have a cause. Aboriginals have alote of power and it should be used to stop the flood of unscreen third worlders into this country. If anyone can attempt to save canada its them.
