Canadians suck!
Man, this ****** canadian was giving me such a hard time for this book I'm selling on ebay. I originally bought the book for $10 plus S&H just to find out the book was the wrong edition. So I put it up on ebay... The starting bid was $9.99, reserve price was $19.98, and the buy-it-now price was set to $19.99. Yeah, I know, selling it for more but it was in MINT condition and all the websites I looked at said cheapest price was $15 and that was with edges bent, no cd-rom, highlighted pages, etc. This book's brand new, so I figured $20 was respectable. Also, I bought another book for $80 shipped to my door, then I got dropped from the class and no one would even watch it at $75 buy-it-now so I lowered it down to $40 reserve, $45 buy it now.. so I was loosing a good amount of money there, so the $10 mark up on the other book seemed a good excuse. ANYWAY...
So this **** canadian man was like "What's s&h to montreal?" Now if anyone's ever sold anything on ebay, y'all know you can discreetly add $5 or so to S&H for the "handling" part of shipping supplies, gas to drive there, auction costs, paypal fees, whatever and it's automatically added to the S&H price when the auction ends. Well, since he asked montreal I asked for his zip code and I went to UPS and told him the straight up shipping cost without the $5 fee, it was $12.55 and I told him $13. He responds "I'll give you $10 for it shipped 6 days to Montreal" So I reply "If you do the Buy-It-Now price, I'll agree to S&H of $10" TRYING to be nice.
Him: "No I'll bid the $9.99 and you charge $10 for S&H"
Me: "No, if you're only going to do the bidding then I'm charging you the full $13, I'm not going to pay $3 out of my own pocket to send this book to you, it's not like I'm a store with a 50% mark up here" (even tho technically it was )
We went back and forth like 5 emails, I got pretty bitchy with him by the end "Why the hell are you being such a ******* and trying to scam me out of this? Here's a link to a website that lists prices for the book, the book retails brand new at $66, this book is brand new and I'm only selling it for $20! Either take it or leave it, I don't care if I have to relist it to get the price I want, it's your loss not mine." So then he bids the $20.. ****** retard. Anyway, I just had to vent.
no offense James.

Him: "About $26 USD."
Me: "Are you ******* kidding? Do I get a hand-job too? Explain to me how an IAT sensor costs $26 to ship, when I had my turbocharger shipped for $20 USD."
Him: "Insurance."
Me: "**** insurance, I'm only buying this one from you because Canadian Tire didn't have any in stock. If need be, I'll go to GM and buy it and STILL pay less than your stupid shipping and handling."
Him: "I gotta make money too."
Me: "What is this, a business? You're selling a used IAT sensor with no guarantee of it even working."
Needless to say, I didn't buy it from him. I got one from a friend WITH the rubber grommet.

Come to find out, the guy was a reseller... I left a neutral feedback for him saying "User tries to haggle as much as possible so when he resells it through his company he makes more money." or something like that
