WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Jose Canseco again asked for immunity from a House panel investigating steroid use in professional baseball Thursday.

Canseco, who just published a tell-all book on steroid use in the majors, is the only witness who asked for immunity. The attorney general turned down his first request, Rep. Tom Davis, R-Virginia, said.
