TO Car dealerships? Trustworthy?

TO Car dealerships? Trustworthy?
Hollo. I just stumbled across your family here, and thought I might be able to pick your brains?
I live in Edmonton, and I want to buy an SUV. Particularly an Infinity QX4. Here in Edmonton an 03 goes for about $27 - $30K. I see them in TO for about $20K. Can a used dealership be easily trusted, or should I just stick local and pay a premium?
You always see the expose's on scam dealers and I dont need to be ripped off 3500kms away from a face to face with a scammer!
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
