Car wash or at home
How do you wash your car? Do you wax it as well?
I always take it to the car wash. We have one of those touch free car washes. It is a little bit more expensive, but I think it washes and waxes my Jeep the best.

My poor car doesn't get washed nearly as often as it should. Before I had kids I was religious about washing it every weekend. Now I'm lucky if it gets a bath once a month. I like the car washes for a quick clean but it's not as good as what I would do.

I like going to those do-it-yourself car washes. In my opinion the power washer gets the dirt off better than I could do with my hose at home.
Of course I could buy a pressure wash, but I really don't want to have to deal with lugging it out of the garage and hooking it up... etc.
Every once in a while I will wax my car, that I will admit I don't do often enough.

I have often thought about buying a pressure washer. I would be so convenient to be able to wash my Jeep at home. Right now, I just have a hose and I don't like doing it that way. I"ll stick with my touch free car wash.
I am surprised car washes can still run if there are water restrictions. You would think they would cut back on that as well. They use a lot of water. Just my opinion though.

There are times it really depends my mood, when I am running late for something and need the car tended to, I have no issues paying someone for the work to be done. Then there are other times when I want time well spent with my car and I am just fine with a bucket in the front yard.

Me personally, I wash at home. Coin Ops are brutal, and drive in car washes generally do a poor job.
