The van idea would be cool , but the trans in them is junk. You,d have to put in a diff trans and case , to take any kinda power or abuse. I think the van trans is based on the mustang 4 banger ones and hardly lived in those tork monsters. What about rear wheeling a taurus station wagon ??. Take out the back seat and floor and mount the eng/trans in the back. Using a 8,8 rear end . What about a festiva ??.

The idea of a V8 AWD mini van i have had for a wile.
Its not some thing i would do as a driver but more as a joke.
If i came across a van with a dead motor then i might try and do one.
As for the tranny and case i would go with built C4 and case from an old full size 4X4.

But one would need money to burn to take on a project like this.

yes but they would be slow as do to gearing issues out of the hole it would be a monster 20 feet down the track it would be topped out lol.....would be wild to see though
