Cocaine Energy Drink

I can't believe it would seem so many people buy into this energy drink hype. I notice no difference between drinking a can of mountain dew or drinking an energy drink. Maybe I'm different but I think a lot of people think that because they just payed $3 for a drink its going to give them a rush of energy when in reality its just your mind playin games.
You guys can keep paying ridiculous amounts of $$ for cans soda with contents that you can barely pronounce let alone know what they are- I'll stick with my 12-pack of dew for that same $3.

K, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Taurine, Ginseng, and Niacin are energy burners/producers in their different ways. Its the same stuff you find in multi-vitamins, but in way larger doses. Im not gonna lie and say I know what all that other stuff does, but the ones I listed, I know burn energy. For some people it might just raise their body temperature a little bit, but for others, you actually do feel a little more energized.
But trust me, I am big M-Dew fan.

most of the energy drinks use caffeine and sugar, and are not allowed to add enough to do a whole lot (FDA regulates the amount of caffeine can be added to any food or drink) drink a pot of coffee or take some no doze

funny thing is, they posted an article in our college's newspaper that blew this drink wayyyyy out of proportion. Saying that "recovering addicts wont find this drink funny" and "parents of addicts of lost children to the drug will not see anything good come from this drink".....well that may be true, but the same thing can be said about any new alcoholic drink, any new car, etc etc. They go on to say that the amount of caffine in this drink (350% more than one redbull) gives off such a buzz that it is very similar to a cocaine high (but without the crashing effects), and in fact a sister company has produced a drink called (no joke) "rehab" which helps come off the caffine buzz from the coaine drink.
stop and think for yourselves for a second....its all clever marketing!!!
I highly doubt that people will get addicted (before getting sick) of this drink, and by adding a 'come down' drink from the same company, they are only boosting more sales from hype.
Further, they've only released the drink in 2 places in the US thus far: NYC and LA.....where do most of the celebrities hang out?, and in the articles about the drink who do they say is slamming this drink as of yet?.....the plot thickens!!!
So you add media influence (both from critics and from the celebs who drink it) and then you show it to the public and you are guarenteed a strong following (people do what they are told is wrong, and like to do what the people they idolize do)- it's all about business
Anyone who has ever tried cocaine can tell you that loading up on gobs of caffine isnt going to equal the sensation of being lit out of your mind...why else would they do coke instead of loading up on redbulls?, yet to tell people this is the case and it will be a legal form of it.....well, you just made yourself rich
Honestly, as much as alot of us see through it as being just another step in the 'ultimate energy drink'...I still wouldnt mind trying one just to see what the hype is all about - and thats exactly how they get ya
