So I want to burn cds but i cant
the drive reads the disc or the music i want to burn
but it wont burn it!
is the burner shot or what???
i have nero... btw and Itunes neither burn the disc

this sucks
help much appreciated..

first of all... do you have a cd burner? also, what type of disks are you trying to burn to, and what types does the burner burn?

yea its a cd burner drive/dvd burn drive.. dvds never burned right on here so i didnt give a **** IM suing Sony cdrs...

the memorex 1s i had before didnt work either... and they work on my gfs puter.

It burns DvdRs Cdrs and Cdrws

It seems to start then says write error, burn process failed. at 16X2400

yea it hasnt worked for few week, it did before man, its the one in my HP computer so im assuming its hp

hp burners have a life expectancy of about 5 minutes (the only brand that has a worse record for service is gateway, and they are being sued over it)

You can get WAY cheaper ones off newegg.com ... DVD/CD burners are getting really cheap, you shouldnt have a problem finding a new one for cheap.
