City passes a new bylaw . 40 klicks in school safety zones . On my 10 minute commute to work I pass 2 schools .On a 5 lane road , theres a side street to the right just before you hit the 40 k zone . Cops sit like 50 ft back up this street with video and radar and they park an unmarked car in the curb lane just before the 40 k zone , and the corner. So people are hitting the throttle tryin to get around this parked car and get into the centre lane of traffic.
so , you get around the car go to slow down and busted . If you hit it up to 70 k to get by , once your around the car your in the school zone and thats now 30 k over in a school zone . The shop I work at has 2 cops as reg customers and 1 of them was telling/ bragging to me about the number of people getting busted and the size of the tickets involved .
when theyre done , and move to another area. I,ve actually seen a cop get in and drive away the parked car . Nice ..77.
