Cops Reveal What Hells Angels Raid Netted Them
Remember last month's huge bust that targeted the Hells Angels across the province?
While the cases against the 27 people arrested slowly begin to wind their way through the courts, police officials have now revealed just how much they found on their Project Tandem tour of duty.
Cops have confirmed they've seized four properties in the Niagara Falls and Welland area, worth a total of $1,076,000. One of the items taken was registered to the Hells Angels and was listed as their Niagara Chapter Clubhouse (pictured, top left). The property is said to be worth $126,000. The others had individual owner's names on the deeds.
Also taken in the raids - 10 cars and five Harleys worth $440,000 and more than $540,000 in currency and other goods.
All the items are covered under a Proceeds of Crime law that states anything derived from the commission of some designated offences can be seized by law enforcement officials.
The early morning raids that took place across Southern Ontario were months in the planning and were sparked by that rarest of leads - a disgruntled informant from within the outlaw motorcycle gang.
Charges laid range from drug and weapons offences to murder, and police contend they've dealt a huge blow to the gang in the province.
"We were able to take on key members of the group, target their key players ... We took on members that are very high up in the hierarchy," outlined O.P.P. Det. Supt. Don Bell. "This will have a significant impact in disrupting the activities of the Hells Angels in Ontario."

Cops got the info from a member in the clubs about 10 - 12 yrs that rolled over on some guys . Would hate to be him right now . The money from the cops might be good for a while , but ending up with a dribble cup taped to your chin , and having to pay someone to wipe your azz because you have only 10 % motor control of your body is kinda gonna suck ..77.
