My brother has a long drive to work and he's figtured it out, he's spending over $100 a week just to get to and from work because of gas and stupid IL toll's.

geez. Im glad im using public transportation right now. I pay 60 bucks a month for a pass to ride the bus or the skytrain anywhere i want, whenever i want, and how many times i want. Gas was 3.55 in NC. And my mom is driving the camaro now, because its better on gas than her SUV. Which is werid because she hates the camaro. I hope gas prices go down before i come home for christmas or i want be able to afford gas.

There are a few state taking the taxes off gas right now (GA and Mississippi both are) there was a woman on tv last night that said in 99% of the country if gas prices are over $3 a gallon they are gouging (the stations here are from $2.59 to $3.09)Shell is selling cheap enough to stations where theymake money at $2.59 in the area

Its weird, when Adric and I drove home this past weekend, every single gas station was either 2.79 or 2.99. Not a cent more or less. Ive never seen every gas station in such unison with each other, usually its a bunch of differnt prices, but it was always those 2 prices no matter where we saw it. With the exception of one station that was 2.89. It was just unusual to see that.

I would kill for a way to buy fuel direct from the plant that makes it. I hate going to gas stations and giving my money to people who cannot even speak proper English.
