Cylinder Head and BLock milling

I am going to be diving into a GSR build up and I wanted to know in more detail what Milling the head and block would do? I want to Extrude Hone my head and get a 3 angle valve job however I do not know what to mill my head and block at. Planning to change out the Cams, want nothing to crazy just a nice milling job to make me happy. Would 0.10'' be a good milled head number? and if it is what would the head need to be milled at or can it be left stock? Thanks.

depends, is your head warped? usually you dont need to mill it unless its warped or unless you wanna bump the compression a little. it all depends how much clearance you have between the piston and valve as to how much you can mill. if youre not sure then get a shop to build the engine for you
