Well I decided I'm going to buy and install a 3.5" lift kit from Rocky Roads, then adding a set a 265/75/R16 under the wells, still debating on brand of tire. Does anyone know of any good fiberglass hood scoops, I'm looking for roughly a smooth 2 1/2-3 inch cowl scoop that fits on the Jeeps hood which is i believe like 36-38 inches long and about 45 inches wide. I have been tempted to just wait on the scoop and when i get home, get some styrofoam and make one that i like, and fiberglass over top of that, to get the form.

buy a whole hood not just a scoop, I have never seen a scoop that looked decent after a couple of years. The hood just flexes too much to keep a nice tight fit, and will crack if molded in

Thats the problem, if you can find an aftermarket hood for a WJ that looked decent then i would be investing into that, but i havent ran into any yet

Well I take back my previous statement, when i was looking through the ads in the back of 4WheelDrive mag, i found a ad that had Grand Cherokee hoods, and one of them looked like it would fit the 99-04 model, so i checked it out, and it not a bad looking hood, it definitly do-able.

Im honestly wondering why you want to mod the jeep period? From what it looks like, you're doing with what you have, nothings wrong with that, but, eventually you may dump so much money into it and just think to yourself "I could have had myself an f-body with as much money as I have in this jeep".

Im just curious why you want to mod it at all?

bc i plan on keeping the jeep, for winter, and everyday driving, and on my second deployment i will buy my new Z28 or WS6. I dont want to get another car till after my contract is up from the army and that is in another 2 1/2 years, and after i get back from the next deployment i will be getting out...

Just to state a fact, this goes along the lines of your v6, why you spend so much money into it, when you could have had a decent Z28...just stating. Im not throwing the v6 hatin card. No hard feelings, its just something i want to do. I just want something unique just like every v6 driver out there that mods there car.

Ok ever since i was young when my father had fis old Ford Pickup jacked up about 8-10 inchs and had some huge mudding tires on it, i have always wanted to do something similar to that, and what im doing with this jeep is doing what i have wanted to do.

Sorry if i upset anybody with that second paragraph

why would you leave it stock? Myself I have to do something to every vehicle, sometimes it's just a little, others it's rather major (based on current financial situation)

Thats how I am also, being I'm oversea's when i get back i will have some money to spend, Im buying things for my Monte, Jeep and also my newly bike. And trust me if i wanted to buy another F-Body right away i would wait till i got back from this deployment, because i will still have enough to buy a decent LT1 Z28

I agree. I have the mod bug for everything... The girlfriend got a 1994 Ford Ranger 4x4 (bleh, but it was free) for Christmas, which basically means I get it too, and I already have plans for a 3" lift, clear corners, and billet grille to start. And I don't even like Fords... but when one's in my possession (kinda ) I gotta mess with it. haha...

P.s. v6cam ... When did you get a CBR? Did I miss something, or did u not mention it until now? Haha... How do ya like it? Pics, mods, mod plans, etc. (I'm doing all sorts of **** with my bike )

Yeah, thats how i feel about modding, anything i drive i always have the ambition to mod to my likings. The fact is I havent said anything yet on the board about the CBR600RR. I only have one pic of it before i deployed, which will be below. There are only a couple things im getting for that, all new exhaust, black cowl windshield(I hate the clear), Im going to be playing around with the lights on it, thats about all for that.

That is sexual. Sick bro, Bikes are like my #2 love right now, aside from maros. But damn they can kick the doors off most camaros. I really like a fairing bike, but i still like naked bikes. Awesome, just awesome. p.s. my bike engine is twice as big as yours... nehnehneh... lol just kidding.... your bike is prolly not much slower or equal
