Designing a media room...
So im moving into a new appartment next month, and I purposely got an extra bedroom so I could add a media room.
What do you think would 'pimp' up this media room? This is what I currently have in mind.
I have my 42" samsung LCD 1080p flatpanel that is going to be mounted on this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....#productdetail
, and I have my Pioneer 5.1 Surround sound system, a leather couch, leather loveseat, two end tables and a coffee table, a chinese paper ball lamp to hang from the ceiling for lighting, and a few other decorations.
What I plan on doing (although I dont know how im going to work this yet) is put blue neons underneath the couches and one underneath the entertainment center for light so you can still see with the lights off in the room.
Now, I dont have any more room in the room for furniture or a pool table or whatnot, but does any have any ideas? Or know where I can get regular cheap wall socket neons? All opinions welcome.

One of my buddies set up a game/media room and he bought a bunch of them rocking gamer chairs or whatever thier called and put them around in front of the huge wall mount tv he has. Going the route with the gamer chairs saved a lot of room and seats more people than a small couch, plus you can move them around so your not too close to someone. I think its a sweet setup and them chairs are comfy as hell.

I forgot to mention, I also have a 2nd TV to go in there as well, but its a 40" CRT, so it will be there for some of the older game systems and to play DVD's as to keep all of my friends wives and gf's happy while we veg out on games. (Not to mention, if someone wants to bring over their Xbox360/PS3 system, we can direct link them)

Nah, I have to have an AC/DC converter to do that. So, I think what i've found im going to do is get those cheap *** LED strips that they make for kids beds (I know, weird right?) and use them. I mean, you cant beat a 14" strip for $9.99.

Well, there isnt anyone above me, and its a townhouse so I own the room below it, so im golden.
I got the neons now, and a mini fridge, an ottoman, and some other nick-nacks, so its going to come together nicely! Just a few more weeks

Use google sketch up for a rough idea of what you're doing v6cam... Just to hold you over for spending the money on the 3d rendering program. I actually know how to use Autodesk inventor and can do that type of stuff... I'm taking architecture classes in high school and that is what I hope to get into as an adult.
Phate, you're room sounds awesome! Where exactly are you in North Carolina?
