So youre admitting to doing some stupid stuff and thats good because I know my post was after yours but this just proves that even though you may drive properly most of the time, sometimes people open it up and do stupid stuff but some just go further than others.
Now this confused me a little because what is sane? I understand if youre doing 140 like you said on the highway and people are tailgating you thats not smart, but is 140 on the highway since the speedlimit it 100 smart in the first place? i dont think so but that just goes back to the different levels of stupidity when driving that people take it to.
You might have a big problem with it but you are not so clean yourself so that would put you in the class as say RC who has stated that he has infact done some stupid stuff but has now stopped. you have done some stupid stuff maybe to a lesser degree but its not like both of you drive like that 100% of the time since he has stopped driving like that and you have stated you drive like a sane person.

The great thing about a turbo'd car is that its easy to stay out of boost- just because a car has 500 hp doesn't mean you need to use it all the time. A good friend of mine killed himself in November of 2006 driving like an idiot on a country road, and needless to say I am much more cautious now.

And to RC, I'm not really trying to flush you out, in actuality I would hope that someone would read this thread and decide NOT to drive like a moron as a result. Unlikely, yes, but so is a cure for breast cancer (and I still donate every year).
But, to point out, I do/did all my racing at the track. The great thing about a turbo'd car is that its easy to stay out of boost- just because a car has 500 hp doesn't mean you need to use it all the time. A good friend of mine killed himself in November of 2006 driving like an idiot on a country road, and needless to say I am much more cautious now.
Anyway, good points and points taken.

lol... I do 120km next to cops. They just go faster.. :P My speeds change on the highway from 115-135km, thats my cruise speed.
My city driving speeds are from 60-80km. You just cant do the speed limit sometimes. Its too slow nowadays.. you can fall asleep and crash. Arn't they still trying to raise the speed limits on the highway to 120km? Its been going on for a few years now. Large debate I believe.
Only time I got booked by OPP on the highway was when I rented a friggin Pontiac Gran Prix to go to detroit. I DD a 4 banger honda, you know when ur doing 120km. Switched to a Gran Prix and that thing was like a big change in feel, I didnt feel nothing going 140km...
OPP was sitting in the grass median infront of a bridge, in the middle of the night with his car shut off. That area was like pitch black until I approached and all you see was headlights turn on :S
It sux cuz I didnt intentionally want to be at that rate of speed... Just a lil

Rep Power: 602 congrats on admitting to everyone that your a moron by putting everyone on the road, not to mention your friend in the passenger seat, in extreme danger, by the sound of your car (flat black eg hatch) it probably hadnt been checked over by a real mechanic in the past year, 200kms plus sounds like a good idea, too bad you didnt kill someone so they would put you away for the rest of your life

Everyone is capable of following the law. Yes, a lot of us speed a little bit over, but don't be saying you 'can't' be following the law by not being 'able' to do the speed limit. That's just bullshit and being plain ignorant.
