Dumb *** rednecks!!!
Yesterday I was cruising thru Woodstock, which is near London, and saw something I could not believe. This clown in a chevy pickup truck all covered in mud got hung up on a snowbank. Yep, that's right, a snow bank. Now this bank was mostly tiny ice chunks that have settled and frozen pretty much solid. He proceeded to climb this 4 foot high drift and as soon as his front wheels cleared it, KA_THUMP!!! He settles down on it just enough to have all four wheels off the ground a mere few inches or so. I had to pull over so I wouldn't cause an accident laughing. I mean come on... mud is one thing, ice is another. Anyways, I sat for a couple of minutes watching this guy try to rock himself off the drift which is pretty solid underneath so basically, he isnt going anywhere, 4x4 or not. So what do I do...........? I drive over and offer to help. Now by this time this kid is feeling pretty ****y yet dumb and asks me what I think I can do to help? I politely informed him that the car is AWD and I have a tow rope. He chews on this for about a minute, (DUH!!!!), then agrees to allow me to hook up to his back bumper and pull him off the drift/bank, whatever you want to call it. I swear if I had my camera I would have took a hundred pics so you all could share in the humour because not only did I manage to pull him enough to grip, I pulled his truck pretty much off the bank completely. The dumb **** kept flooring it in reverse and slipping on the ice bank and slippery pavement. Can we say USELESS??? I unhooked the towrope and as soon as that happened, he guns her and takes off without so much as a thanks or anything. I can bet he will NEVER tell this to any of his buddies that a lowly import car helped his 4x4 get unstuck. Talk about LMFAO. Now before anyone asks, I have a 20 foot heavy tow rope and was on a dry section of pavement and went real slow so as not to over stress the delicate DSM tranny. I am still chuckling about this one...
