The End of the 22

so it looks like I got so caught up with living in Europe, that I completely forgot about my H22 civic in canada.

Yes for those old enough on the site that know me as zapa, and know my fast and ugly car that most didn't know what it had ... ther you go ... it had an h22 :P

anywais . it's been gathering up dust in my old building in East York . With a new paintjob too. And I've gotten to the point where i simply don't give a crap anymore, because coming back to canada for me would equal ... i dunno ... dying and going to something worst than hell ?

And given that fact, I also took off from canada not giving a about minour details so i've lost my ownership. The car did have a broken transmission however.

So bottom line is ( funny that it's happening just as i visited the site ) tomorrow someone is coming by to pickup the car and take it to a scrap yard ...

I figured I got nothing tied up to that car, other than memories of a struggle to have some sort of a life in a hostlie, dull and gray environment.

And there you have it

the end of the H22 ... ... Long live the Turbo Renault ... :P

Jawohl her rabbitman.

good thing with you moderators to keep order and police the vice and virtue on this board. without your censorship and free speach impediments, there would be no perfection on our great golden forum

lowbalt it's been parked in a secured parking lot untill yesterday when a friend left the tow truck guy take it. and i guess you were not arround back then when i was smoking talkers with that rusty sedan. driving circles arround a S2000 on the highway then when exiting pointing out the fact that my bumper is falling off from rust.

i feel sorry for letting it go, but only the thought of moving back to canada... and even if i were to visit. ... insurance eh , certification eh , cavity search eh ... **** it ... eh

As for the Renault it's a Megane RS ( bet most Canadians would read that with the same accent as Megan which is funny ) . pics are on another comp as i've just moved it's diff to get it but it's basically identical stock to this :

Gas over there is around $3/liter. When I was in France, when I was 16, they had some friggin sweet Renaults and Citroens. Too bad we'll never see them here.

Thx judge. The final price would be about 24 000 euros I guess, after adding all of the cool options like leather recaros, climate control, xeons ...

Yes gas is expensive here, about 2 $ / liter, but once again, full coverage insurance for this car at my age and with at least 5 tickets per year is 110euros / month, so WHO GIVES A ABOUT GAS. Also please note that for 2$ / liter the shittiest gas you'll find is 95 octane, and what goes in my car is 100 octane.

The 2007 has actually close to 330 torque, which is not necesarily a good thing even with the 18" you can't get traction for . And the gas consumption ranges from 6 liters / 110 km on a hungarian highway 6th gear cruise control at 100 kmph or , 30 liters gunning it through a winding up and down mountain road through romania

irishangel those cars just appeared in eastern euro, I saw one two days ago, but I have heard people talk about them a lot. How do they run, do they handle ok? Are they faster than the Megane RS ?

the car is amazing, i loved it, the whole front end is plastic, fenders bumpers etc. car handles like a dream but i wanted a cliosport v6, mid engine rear wheel drive they were only 250bhp but in a car that weighs as much as a turd it would have been fun. they run pretty good the only thing i can say is that the interior isnt the greatest, i always found that i sat to high even with the seat down as low as it would go

if you want a unbelievable car get a lancia delta s4, supercharged and turbod from the factory lol.

i had the 182 cup, opel vectra sri, corsa gsi, golf gt-tdi, pulsar gtir sierra cosworth, and about 4 mini cooper s's the old ones like 86-96 versions. wish i could have some here now

right on, whats a euro worth these days? around 2 bucks u.s or so? \my stang costs me 75 bucks a month, ful coverage with 3 speeding tickets
also its my understnading that your 100 octane gas isnt any higher than our high test. the octane is measured differently over there than it is over here and its not any higher than our gas

the octance level in ireland is way higher than it is here. but then again we have all the jap imports there that are meant to run on the good stuff. the other side is the diesel there is way cleaner than here, hence the reason that most people buy a tdi golf or audi or something like that. The audi A3 3.2 quattro has 250bhp and 236tq and its a diesel.... lol
