the numbe may be higher but if you were to compare the 2 theres no difference. they just rate the octane differently in europe :)

Octane rating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In most countries (including all of Europe and Australia) the "headline" octane that would be shown on the pump is the RON, but in the United States, Canada and some other countries the headline number is the average of the RON and the MON, sometimes called the Anti-Knock Index (AKI), Road Octane Number (RdON), Pump Octane Number (PON), or (R+M)/2. Because of the 8 to 10 point difference noted above, this means that the octane in the United States will be about 4 to 5 points lower than the same fuel elsewhere: 87 octane fuel, the "regular" gasoline in the US and Canada, would be 91-92 in Europe. However most European pumps deliver 95 (RON) as "regular", equivalent to 90-91 US (R+M)/2, and even deliver 98 (RON) or 100 (RON).
so i was clse to what i was saying. the gas ove in europe is only sligtly better than hat we have here. although in the states some pumps offer 100 octane at sunoco. which in europe would be what, 105 to 106 octane.

put it this way your stang, you wouldnt really wanna drive it coz of the cost lol.

judgez24 Apr 3, 2008 09:30 AM

i already dont wanna drive it. lol. i got some 94 for my atv the other day, 20 bucks was 16.33 liters. the stang has a slightly bigger tank, and while not stomping on it its good on gas, its the time, basically everytime i drive it, that when i give her some , that she gets thirsty. lol. so the stang will be a weekend and some weeknites kinda car only.
