My husband has been working for the VA hospital here and he finally got accepted as a Health technician. A much better paying job. Now we can get ahead a little. No more borrowing money or asking for food donations. Thank God.

That is excellent. I am so happy to hear that Lilford! It is a hard time for everybody. It has been rough for my family as well. I just got another job (outside of the home) so things are looking a little bit better for us now as well. I have to put my child in daycare, and that's hard--but he (and I) will be okay.

Thank you both. And don`t worry about your son, he will have lots of kids to play with now. I didn`t like it either when my kids were young. It takes some getting used to.

Oh, I know. He will be fine. It's just a hard thing to deal with. I thought staying home with him for 5 years was a good thing--now I am wondering if I should have let him go sooner..lol He will adjust just fine. I think it will take me a bit longer.

Heartiest congratulations. I gues patience and faith are the key until your opportunity comes. These have been some pretty rough times and the central bank here in Canada has said that the recession is over. I need some more good news.

Boy, I hope your bank is right. I don't think the recession is over here in the States--I am still hearing about job loss everywhere. But then again, you know how reporters only like to report the bad news--so who knows.
