well today it hit 1.09 per litre... thats about 3.40 per us gallon ( at todays exchange rate) This is getting insane im not complaining, i just think its outragous how they can charge so much... i was watching the news earlier and venezuela only pays 17cents per litre! anyways, what are u guys currently paying? im just curious

camaro94 08-10-2005 02:39 AM

MeenZ28 08-10-2005 04:44 AM

archemedes 08-10-2005 09:10 AM

69z-28 08-10-2005 09:23 AM

camaro94 08-10-2005 05:30 PM

97z2801ss 08-10-2005 05:58 PM

archemedes 08-10-2005 06:34 PM

I still get a kick out of everyone saying it's the oil prices being high from lack of supply, the oil companies have shown record profits since tehy started whining they had to raise prices to make anything

97z2801ss 08-10-2005 07:15 PM

F*ck oil co's!

Dcalado_ 08-10-2005 09:02 PM

hm, gas is alot cheaper down there i think for premium up here its 1.20 per litre.. so like 3.75us per us gallon... and price's are suposed to keep going up.. at least by another 5-10cents by end of august

ryann 08-10-2005 09:16 PM

too much

Alleycatt 08-10-2005 09:21 PM

what gets me though is we are paying the taxes of gas for other countries. Take Iraq for example. They only pay like $.5 or $.10 a gallon and we pay the rest of that when we pay for our gas. Now that's not fair.

RFF 08-10-2005 10:16 PM

To bad the government is one big ***** and won't step in and knock the oil companies around a bit.

why do that, look at the names in some of these oil companies, they are congressmen and senators (not to mention the president, and vice president)

RFF 08-11-2005 01:21 AM

Yes the day of good presidents like teddy are long gone.

Because you were alive to know?

Listen, gas prices go up; you dont want to pay. The solution is simple, walk. Or do like I do and have your company pay for all your gas.

PS. If I did pay for gas, its 2.61 for a gallon of premium (93) here

It's the nature of democracy the people who want the job are wealthy and want to help the wealthy (I don't care what they say, they want to be elite and if more people are wealthy they lose some of that stature)

This isn't a political debate, but I will say this: President Bush is a great leader, elected by the people. You don't have to like the game, but you sure as hell have to play it...

not the 1st time he wasnt
and plus the fact in 04 the computer voting machines malfunctioned and the companies that make them are republican. and i agree with arch and rf. not much you can do though, just hope we don't crumble in another 3 years.

archemedes 08-11-2005 01:41 PM

I always thought to be great you had to do something great, very few presidents have done that while in office.

Alleycatt 08-11-2005 06:57 PM

I know that alot of people didnn't like Clinton, but he did turn around our deficit into a surplus.....of course now all that is gone and is again a deficit.

JesasaurusRex 08-11-2005 08:06 PM

RFF 08-12-2005 02:33 PM

Interesting graph I saw on CNN. It seems most European countries actually get their gas cheaper then we do. But the 50%-60% tax  placed on European gas is what pushes it's price above ours.

JesasaurusRex 08-12-2005 07:19 PM

3.29 in san francisco today :banghead:

NCamaro94 08-13-2005 10:38 PM
