okay i was discussing this with my dad again...

he mentioned how im actually going to college to learn a trade...this reminded me of trade schools like wyotech and UTI...a waste of money i know...but those schools dont give you degrees and dont make you take general ed...they give certificates or something right? and they are recognized by employers.

so if i drop my general ed and continue automotive classes and get a certificate and a few ASE certs that would look good right?

If you decide to get a different degree a few years down the road, your going to need those gen. ed. classes, so you might as well take them now.

since you've already taken them in high school, and seem to have a grasp on the subjects try CLEPing them...

By the way, what do you use an automotive technology degree for?

i guess to get outta the small shop im working at now...i dont really see a use...all i need are a few ASE certs and i took a few tests last week...
