I wouldn't go anywhere expensive on a first date. Keep it cheap but thoughtfull. If she likes nature go for a walk in the park. Like someone else mentioned Yuk Yuk's is a good first date place. I'd steer FAR away from going to a movie theatre because it shows you're not creative and you don't get a chance to talk much - unless you find one of those places that show movies outdoor in a park or something - You like in that J-lo fick the wedding planner, Drive in's are ok, just for the fact that if things go well - you're that much closer to youre back seat.

It's a little too cold sill, but later on in the year drinks on a patio is GREAT. Also one thing that I tried that work great was going down to the beaches Jazz festival. SUPER CHEAP, plus since pretty much the best way to get there is by bus you don't have to worry about her going after you just because you got a nice ride. (Only works if you're both into live music though)

Another thing that I've done that's really cool is drive down to the 1000 islands and take the boat tour to the Boldt Castle in the states - A full day event with lot's of time to talk and still pretty cheap.

There's TONS of things you can do for cheap that are really cool - Sometimes the cheapest dates can turn out to be the best ones. Girls like it because it shows that you're creative and thoughtfull and al that bullshit, and if you get one that get's all pissed that you didn't spend $100 on a dtae with her - you'll know right away to give her the boot (That is - after you give her the )
