And Skype, Rent.com, ProStores.com, Half.com, Mobile.de, and they now own 25% of CraigsList.com. That's what I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there's more.

Oh and eBay banned Google checkout as a payment type just because it would compete against it's own PayPal.

thats insane i couldnt imagine making a site and then the next year getting paid 1.6 billion for it, and plus he probably barely made money on it when it was running, i need to think of a good site
