If the 2 RAM slots are filled with 512's, would I be able to do that trick if I swapped a 512 for a gig chip? I'm guessing so, but I'm just making sure. Thanks for the help. I don't know anything about laptops.

Yep. I heard there was 1 left and I sped all the way there. Pulled my car up in front of the store, had the girl park it, and I ran inside to the electronics department and there it was... One left. Supposedly all Walmarts put out some Wii's yesterday and they all sold out yesterday as well.
