got a question help

i was going to buy a jeep for about 8500 tax included but i was going to finance it. then i meet up with the finance guy then the price went up to 12 000 so i said no i dont want it then. A couple days ago i get a letter in the mail saying i have to pay them 500 so i call in saying why i got to pay this they told me i was approved for the credit and they made the financial plan for it and for the work they did soo i told them its a scam and i not going to pay she replied she going to call the collection agency and its goin to effect my credit.

this is what i would like to no do i have to pay this or im i going to court for this or is there any other solutions help would be appreciated

Did you sign for anything? If not, then your good to go. If you signed for something, pay the money and read next time before signing..
