I might rent GTA, but im sticking with COD4. I've never been a big fan of GTA except the originals.

Phate youre the only person in my friends list I saw playing a different game haha.. I once had like 12 friends and you were the only one playing a diff game haha.. At least youre not a pushover!
Yeah kept thinking my luck on monday night would be I would get home with GTA4 and right away it would get the red ring. The reason people get it is from overheating.. the game is pushing the helll out of the console, did they happen to have them in constrictive places? Im glad I got a PSP, I actually want mine to get it in a year or so, so I can get a new 360

Me + helicopter = crashing into a building leaving justin stuck on a roof.
Yea I was worried about that, I never had a problem with my 360 but I know its bound to happen with the hours im goin to put in on GTA.

Heres a little pic of a fun chase I had with the cops.. I was flying through the city, coming up on the beach and i was aiming for the ramp, well kinda missed it haha.. I was thrown through the window onto the deck.. I just wanted to point out the detail.. Look at how the damage is actually in the right spot, and realistic looking.. I love the car damage in this game, its so much better. Yesterday I was in a Banshee (Viper) and smoked somthing so hard that my front wheel bent in, and it just stayed like that dragging rubber across the ground. Little details like this make the game better.
I was bored, thought I would share. Ive been up for 24 hours straight now haha.. Cant sleep. Adric said this pic reminded him of Epic
haha.

my friend brought this game and his 360 over. its pretty dope. i love the physics of the people in the game, the cars seem to all lack a working swaybar, but it's still good. i had to have played like an hour at most so i know i didnt get a decent look at all the crap but it is a helluva game

I'll join! I'll be on Joel's account since I still won't buy the game. But launching cars off ramps is awesome!!! That and running over just about every car with the Hummer. And OMFG, it is freaking hilarious killing yourself with your own car lmao........

They have released the first week sales numbers.
GTA IV was predicted to hit the same numbers as Halo 3 which was 300 million it's first week. But GTA blew past it and became the best selling game in history with an opening week of 500 million dollars. Microsoft released it's XBox sales numbers for that week and they rose by 54% because of GTA.
Needless to say Take Two is happy and this is the exact reason they held off on accepting offers on buying the company until GTA IV was released.
By comparison Iron Man made 200 million dollars world wide it's first week and the best selling CD only sold 2.4 million copies it's first week which was N'Sync's "No Strings Attached"
MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) asked Take Two to take the game off shelves because you can get drunk in the game and run people over. While I understand their stance and can't say I blame them even there is no way the company is going to take this cash cow off the shelves.

The MADD issue is just like everyone else ******** about it... Some guy named Jack Thompson has tried to stop every single GTA game since GTA3 numerous times for rediculous reason. Where as MADD can complain all they want, even in the game when you get drunk he always says "I really shouldnt be driving home this drunk" and stuff along those lines. And you dont HAVE to drive.. it all can come down to choice where as anything else... Its just a game so people just need to shut the hell up. I hate people that complain about games/movies/music so much, its not real and they really need to find somthing better to do with their time.
