Great news!!!!!!
Some of you may have seen that my car is in need of some bodywork. I needed my passenger door fixed and the typical rear fender ripples fixed. I also had some spider webbing on my front bumper cover and I wanted the t top conversion flawless and the car painted and recleared. Well a friend in the neighborhood father-in-law just so happens to own a rod and custom bodyshop. Well, I just got back and will be taking the car there next Tuesday for its work to be done. He is doing it for cost and no labor. I have to leave it there for a few weeks so it can be a "filler" in between projects. My jaw dropped at some of the cars that are there. He spent about 1 hour just showing me everything going on and the work that they do. I was very impressed. So I am now doing the biggest happy dance ever. Total cost not to exceed $2100. That is when i hit the floor and in my delirious condition asked, When can I drop it off!!!! Best news I've had in a long time.

Nope, no side work. He is just doing me a favor. Great guy. He saw how much I've done with the car and said, let's make it show room new. He's got my business for life...lol. I wish I had my Dig. Cam with to snap a few pics of the cars that were there. I felt like I was at a car show.

Thanks. It's weird, usually people are bummed when they gotta shell out some cash for repairs but always feels good to shell it out for improvements instead.
