The one I worked at was geared more towards adults. My basic job was hiding behind a fake door in a make shift dungeon. When people came by I was suppose to open the door and scream at them nothing more. I spiced it up a bit by throwing the doors open and running towards the people screaming. I was lucky though, I would be running full blast and all I had to stop me was the barrrier fence which I caught with my right hand.

Ive been going to them every year for the past 7 years. The past 2 years, ive probably went to about 25 different once in north carolina, they have alot in nc. But yea, I want be doing them this year, sad, I cant find anything good up here in vancouver, All of them are for kids or teens, plus I dont have my group of friends I love going with. People hate being away from home at christmas, i hate being away from home at halloween. werid.

I went to a few this year, but the ones I go to suck, it's not scary in the slightest. I want to go to some of the truely haunted houses in the area. My dad sold a couple a house that really was haunted.

My dad had a couple that was interested in an old Victorian-style house. I don't remember where he sold them the house, either Romeo or Almont or some tiny town that barely is a speck on the map. Anyway, this couple moved into a house that he sold them, and apparently things started happening. Electronics were turning on and off on their own. A few times the husband or the wife would come downstairs during the middle of the night, or in the early morning hours (usually respectively lol), and candles that they had around the house would be lit, even though they were the only two in the house and the other partner was in bed, sound asleep. According to them, each time the candles were not melted much, so they figured the candle was lit within the past half hour, when both of them were sound asleep. A few times they'd find broken glass all over their kitchen floor, even though their glasses were all safe and sound. I guess their stereo and TV would change stations and channels on its own, too.

Anyway, the couple got fairly used to their strange occurances and pretty much ignored it and such. They went out of town for a week, and the wife's mom came to town for the week and was house sitting for them while they were gone. They never told the wife's mom about the hauntings. They went on their vacation, and after a week came home. When they got home, the mom was no where to be found, but her clothes were still in the bedroom. I guess after an hour or so, they got a call from the mom at a hotel. When they asked why she was at the motel, the mom said she saw a man walk by the bedroom door, and when she got up and went to see who it was, she saw him fade away to nothing in the middle of the hallway. Needless to say, that scared the **** out of the mom, she grabbed some clothes and her car keys and left, and she swore up and down she would never come back to that house again. That was the last straw, and they put the house up for sale.

My dad had the house up for sale and I guess sold it to another couple, never did tell the couple about the hauntings in the house, and about a month later, the new owners fled from the house and the house was vacant for some time. Never did hear if anyone moved back into the house, but regardless it's a **** good story.

You might be getting confused with the street name, I just asked my dad, he said it was in Imlay City, but on Almont Ave (that's the one he was talking about atleast, there very well could be one in Almont too)
