a car being 1, in good condition will definatly raise book value, 2, a car being moddified will value, but dont expect this to raise it to barret jackson prices, to use my car for an example. the car its self cost me 6000.00 dirt cheap for an eclipse gsx, i have over 15,000$ in mods, and still climbings, think i could get that money back? HA, in most cases it will be nearly impossible to sell my car moddifed and even get a little extra for parts and time. lets not talk about a car that has a terrible job done to it.. ex. bad paint, ugly cusomization(spelling,sorry) and so on. this could only lower the price deffinatly. we could arguee about this all day, but there are so many variables in this disscussion that it would take you all day of none stop blaber to figure out just where to start.... just my 2 cents.
