Hey Everyone...(Pics of future tattoo)
I just wanted to stop in real quick and say "Thanks" to all of you for your comments, support and friendly thoughts last week. I've been pretty busy with handling my Oldman's funeral and such that I haven't really had the time to do much posting.
So check it out,.....I've decided to get a Tattoo in memory of my Dad so that I'll be reminded of him and all the good times we had together. Unfortunately he lost a lot of weight and looked pretty sick before his passing, so I found this passport of his from about 20 years ago when he was healthy and strong, and realized it would make the perfect portrait tattoo.
I used the past few days to come up with the final sketch of what I'll be getting on my chest directly above my heart.
It may not be as good as one you'd see on "Miami Ink" (Kat rules the portrait tats) but I think it turned out pretty darn good......and because I did it, it'll mean that much more to me.
So here's a few pictures of how I came to the final sketch. I scanned it to the size I wanted, then I traced the basic outlines and began shading it in. Those art classes I took in school really helped me get the right shadows to create the features on his face. Anyway, let me know what you think.......
(if you don't like it, please keep your responces friendly out of respect) "Thanks"

Your a very talented artist. I designed two of my own ink and I treasure them the most. Tats are a great way to remember something that was important to you every day of your life, and to show everyone what it means to you.
