Hey Guys.
I know its been forever, but it just seems like I never have time to get on here anymore with all the things I have to do with the baby, and work, and putting a car show for Wal-Mart/CMN, and I was feeling kind of depressed about my car on top of it. But, here I am and since I'll be having a lot of spare time these next two weeks and for a while coming up, I thought I'd drop by with a bit of important news for those members that know/have met my husband, Ryan. Ryan was in a motorcycle accident. Here's the article:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
State police are searching for a driver who left the scene of an accident Friday night in Fayette County.
Ryan Michael Crooks, 24, of Greensboro in Greene County was heading rest on Route 21 in German Township on his Suzuki motorcycle when the driver of a Pontiac Sunfire traveling east made a left turn into his path, state police at the Uniontown barracks reported.
The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the Double T Bar and Grill. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the black, two-door vehicle, and then slid on the ground, police said.
The driver of the Sunfire, which had a broken driver's-side rear tail light, fled the scene.
Crooks was flown to UPMC Presbyterian hospital. His condition was unavailable Saturday night. He was wearing a helmet, police said.
Anyone with information about the Sunfire or its driver is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.------------------------------------------------------------------------------
His list of injuries include:
- two broken wrists
- broken femur (has been rodded in his first surgery)
- broken tibia (metal plate to correct in his second surgery)
- broken knee cap
- broken orbital bones on face
- broken neck
- multiple contusions, road rash, lacerations
He will need many surgeries to reconstruct his leg bones and facial bones. He has had his first one, and will be going in for his second surgery for his broken tibia on Tuesday. He was in a coma, but is coming out of it and is now responding to commands such as wiggling fingers, opening eyes, wiggling toes, and giving a thumbs up. He also has no health insurance.
I will try to keep an update going here for those of you that know him. If you would like to know more feel free to call me on my cell at: 724-998-0788.

depressed about the car because no money, paint is messing up (again), no garage.
Remy is fine. He just had his first birthday yesterday. Off to the doc's today.
Ryan is out of ICU, but he is still all messed up. He will have to go to a skilled nursing place once he is discharged, because of his injuries - there is just no way he can come home. I can't take care of him, the baby, and go to work, and he could not get around the house. They say he'll be out sometime in the middle of next week.
He's still disoriented some of the time, but he is awake and usually coherent - he'll even make some jokes and say typical Ryan-things(those of you that have met him should know what I mean). He is in a lot of pain.
I spent the last week and a half at a place near the hospital so I didn't have to drive home and back every day. But now I'm back at home, and I 'm going back to work on Sunday.
