How can I get a legit engine swap?

I own a 1994 Hodan civic coupe and I am buying from my friend a 98 honda civic V-TEC engine for my car for a good price and lower miles. I want to know how can I make my engine legit with my car. Is there any way to register the new engine with the car or anything like that?

you do not have to register an engine with a car. keep the receipt of the new engine in the glove box in case anyone ever asks when you sell your car.
