That was like a promo vehicle. Hurst also made some without the stationwagon looking hatch. They were black with gold stripes, badging and wheels.

Here's a 97. They also made a 98.

Yeah they used that for their magazine ads and carshows. Pretty ugly but it did its job as it always got attention.

if I die, i wouldnt even want to be seen in that, much less theres a corvette with that kind of back end on it, FUGLY as hell...its an old sting ray vette, Ill have to take a pic of it, its nasty...

There is some precidence for that wagonbird

They did it with a 2nd gen


and a 3rd gen


They were called Kammabacks and were made by Pontiac
