Ok, today we got report cards and attendence is on those and im shown for 2 days on my classes except one where im down for 6! Im like holy crap. Well anyways i go home and mom got a letter from the District Attorney that we have to go see the attorney about it. Well this is all bad because ive never skipped so I dunno whats up with this teacher. Im so pissed right now im about to go insane! Im going to the attendence off tomorrow to TRY and get this fixed ofcourse they never listen to what we have to say so I really dont know what to do! We havent told my dad because he will flip out and who knows but I really need this fixed and now. Any help would be great.

I was absent 34 times, tardy 43 times this year and i didnt get in trouble.. its saposed to be only 20 excused times out, and every 3 times you come in late you get an iss but they never enforced it..

ive got like 20 tardies and 6-7 absences and i got a letter that says if i miss anymore i have to go to the district atourney. its ******** tho because the other day i got before school detention for a tardy and i havnt been tardy in like 2 months.

it does seem crazy that they get the DA just for a few truancies. but my classes are weird...i have different number of absences for each class. its just cuz teachers such at taking roll.

haha seriously! college professors don't give a crap if you are there or not... I skipped out of a class early for the first time last semester (I never had any unexcused absenses through HS, it was always excused absenses for being "sick") and man after I started skipping in college, I failed all three classes cause I didn't give a **** about being there.

your professors are cool. i was told the professors at my college will drop you if you miss a weeks worth of classes (ie. you have the class 3 days a week, so if you miss any 3 classes during the semester youre dropped)
