Ha. Imagine what will happen with PS3 The only game I will count on for looking nice is GT5 because they have been working in it since they started GT4, and Gran Turismo always looks nice no matter what number it is... They have some of the best graphics Ive seen on any system.

And PS3 is going to blow XBox 360 out of the water... notice how they continued working on it while they let 360 come out without competetion. I saw some of the behind the scenes movies, and they are getting into some really nice detail in the games, check out fight night round 3 sometime and look at how much detail is in that game, its crazy. But ps3 will be too much money which will be its downfall.

well ive been arguing the whole xbox vs ps2 thing based on graphics.

now that the game systems are coming out in 400-600 dollar range i am actually evaluating game consoles on gameplay. so far, im not seeing any valuable gameplay on 360, and i cant argue for the graphics either.

This is why you stick to PC... because they hold most all the titles, and you can ALWAYS continue to upgrade your graphics.

Another downfall for Sony is that the PS3 will have very limited online gameplay. Instead of having something like Xbox Live Sony is going to make the developers of the game responsible for online play.

**** that. i hate getting into this, but IMO, a PC never plays as good as a console. a good graphics card costs as much as a new xbox, and PCs always have miscellaneous **** in the RAM for windows operation and the controls are just stupid. why is "w" foward and "s" backward? lol.

I just don't see how you cannot tell the difference graphic wise on HDTV. I know for me their is a stunning difference on Halo 2.

IMO the 360 came out with very good launch line up. At least it started with some 1st party titles unlike the PS2 which left gamers stuck with all 3rd party titles.

Exactly, I would love to see someone try to build a PC (just hardware) that has as much power as the 360.

maybe i didnt pay enough attention to small details, although it looked a lot smoother...pixel-wise...but i have HD component cables for my xbox so no wonder its hard for me to tell.

I will say that for some games, a console is better, for example: Madden, or any other sport game prettymuch. And depending on who you go with, you dont need that expensive of a graphics card to play most games. I paid 630 for my computer, which is pretty good speed, ram, and fully capable of upgrading anytime i want. I paid $80 for a graphics card that could handle most of todays games, which I overclocked to get even a little more speed out of.

You can close down any operation you would like in windows, and most of the ones that need to be running in the bg dont require many system resources. If you are having an issue with that, I say you need more ram.

As for the key mystery, who knows why they did that. I hated it at first, but now Im used to it, and find it very comfortable for shooter games (which is the majority that I play). But a few games are pretty crappy with those keys, I hated playing juiced with them. But you cant pass up a fully compatible system that can take all titles in: halo, gta, madden, ect... not to mention you have online play that is WAY better than any console.

That isnt hard. It may cost a little more, but you can match that easily.

I have to disagree, Xbox live IMO is just as good as any computer online game play. The only problem I have is that M$ tends to limit the number of players per server which kind of sucks.
