As I'm a Canadian citizen, I can't...I will most likely move there a few years down the road - Years after that, when I'd become a US citizen, I would have no problem joining the military as say, an air force/navy reserve(preference).

anyone who wants to move to america...no one is stopping you. but i can tell you right now that of the G8 countries, the US of A ranks at the BOTTOM of my list of "places i'd like to live"

I'm not the biggest Bush supporter out there, but he's done a damn good job considering the circumstances.

I'd be surprised if half the people out there who say "Bush is a moron" even know why they're saying it, since our media has been nothing but liberal BS for over a decade(and continues to...this is toronto remember)

As well, I'd be surprised if half the people who say the US is such a violent place, even realize that our murder rate here in toronto is very close to that of NYC...Which of course, many people make out to be some sort of massive ghetto where you'll die if you walk the streets at night

Are you ****ing stupid? Their FREE PUBLIC HEALTH CARE SYSTEM puts ours to shame(It's called MEDICAID) if you are unable to afford insurance. And it's free to the users.

And then, their normal health care system puts even that to shame. And guess what? Generally, your employer covers most, if not all of the cost of the cost for insurance. If you knew about it, then you wouldn't have said what you just did.

What I see on Friends? I've been to NYC far more times than you, let alone many other places...No it's a big country. I realize places like downtown Detroit aren't paradises...If you think the US is bad, then goto South Africa for a week.

But you're a typical left winger, talking out of his *** not even knowing the facts...I think your comments on the US health care system pretty much destroy any credibility you may have had. Do you also think our health care is free? Yea. Right. Far more expensive on average than the US system, yet it's one of the shittiest ones out there - Especially for a G8 nation.

Difference is I know people in the states I guess, while you have this warped percepton about 'medicaid'( I don't think you actually realise what the requirements are). I've never payed a cent for canadian health care, on the other hand I personally know people in the states who have sold their homes to cover trivial medical help. And excuse me your calling liberals 'pushovers' who change to the publics wants? Two words 'gun-registry'. Thanks, whose getting rid of it? Your holy saviours, the conservatives.

edit: Let me give you a rought idea, to apply for medicaid, lets say you have a family of 4, your total annual income before taxes must be below about 15 000$, with no assets. That is only one part, there are many many hurdles you have to get through before you will be eligable for them to pay most of your medical bill.

But medical help is only a small part of the story of the huge social and economic problems that are day to day reality of most of the united states, but I guess you dont learn that watching tv and taking trips to manhattan.

I know what the requirements are for medicaid and they vary from state to state and metro area to metro area. And boo hoo, you know people that made good money and were too cheap to get health insurance. It's their own damn fault. We pay high taxes to get our, according to you, AMAZING health care; They pay insurance to get theirs, while having lower taxes(and again, employers usually cover most, if not all). It evens out but we have a worse system. End of story.

Gun registry? So what? It's a waste of money. Harper's doing what should have been done years ago - Whereas your hero, Paul Martin bans hand guns because apparently, REGISTERED hand guns are the ones being used in all the murders. Right.

And...What kind of ****** talks like "ZOMZGS? Clearly, you're a homosexual and clearly you're a liberal moron that knows not of what he speaks.

PS: Economic problems? Hate to break it to you, but the US economy is doing far better than our economy here in Canada.

Oh and just to address your quote on the surplus: Tell me, what good will that 1.6 billion do when out national debt is over 800 billion? Please do tell! Obviously you're not an economics major, but it's safe to say that the debt will NEVER be paid off. At least not in my lifetime...The liberals can gloat all they want about a surplus, but they do ****-all with it every single time. At least the conservatives will spend on worthwhile things - IE our troops.
