some people work till like 6 or 7 or even later so maybe it would be convient for it to be open late. also, it may give the "late night streetracing" feel.

in pinball clemens toronto-stop the violence campaign, he wanted to open closer community centres to get youth to stay out of trouble and keep them occupied. could this be applied to having tracks near the city to get racers and enthusiasts to come instead of racing on streets or like a 2hrs or more drive away to tracks. plus, im pretty sure it will help the economy

A race track is nothing like a community drop-in center.

Mosport faces heavy noise bylaw fines every time their oval runs past 11:00pm on a Saturday night. Shannonville also has night restrictions placed on it. The reason? Neighbours and their right to quiet enjoyment of their property.

So where would you hold races late at night and at the same time not create unacceptable noise levels for residents living nearby?

Those problems don't negate the possibility that having a race track closer to toronto would help alleviate the "streetracing problem". imo, need a closer track that is open late. where or how? we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
