Imports vs Domestics

No swet bro .Anyhow what gets me is how asians do not allow us to plant our dealerships over there. You know why? because asians love our culture. It is not uncommon to see guys rideing harleys in japan. There leaders know this and they know damn well if we had our dealerships there they would be buying up our lincolns and caddies, etc like mad.

it's allwais like that , we tend to want things we can't get as easily .
my friend was driving a Z3 in romania , and when i told him I drive a sunfire he goes : "no , that's an amazing car"
this other guy i know bought a vette here , took in there , sold it , got a 600 class Mercedes for the money

myself I want to hear from the owner of a Ferrari and a Viper which is best ...
want to bet in that case , when one has enough money to respect himself ( not buy a GT stang and a suzuki swift to be able to afford driving daily to work ) , the viper is a beater ? :P
or a 750 or an M5 next to a Cadillac . lol
the only reason ppl won't like euro cars , is cuz they can't afford them
it's a subconscious bias ... just like the s who date ugly fat chicks with braces and pimples on their *** but say that Paris Hilton is ugly .

That and they think they can get the same Euro package in a less expensive Domestic skin.. but it's not true... you can't.. there is a reason why people with money go for imports... and not domestics...
There's that feel and presence when you're in a Euro Import...
I mean seriously... What do the Domestic people have that can compare to the likes of a MB S600 or BMW 760Li or even Audi A8L? Not a whole lot thats for sure...

Because we'll never see those cars on the road over here , only because they'd make the Cadillacs look like a Civic .

Personally I like domestics , there are a few imports I like but those are the ones I probably would never be able to afford. I think imports for the most part are very well designed . The domestics are slowly catching up to the other manufacturers. Lucky for me all the domestic cars I have owned have lasted a long time and were relatively trouble free. If I could choose I would love a CTS-V, GTO or a Corvette C-6. I think those are awesome cars.

I know I find the cadillac and even the lincoln line up alote better looking and faster since 94'.The northstar is a great engine and GM does a damn good job with the looks of the caddy.Personally I think BMW needs to hire some new people in the styleing department. On top of which there are plenty of "loaded" people who drive nice domestics.A cadillac CTS-V will mop the floor with alote of other euro luxury cars.

have u ever been in an euro luxury car ?
I mean ... M5 and up
as for the style comment ... what can you do . you think if you take a man that lived in the wilderness hunting animals and wiping his *** with leaves , and put him in a 6 star hotel , he'll like it at first ?
what u figure is the closest u ever stood to a BMW 760 coupe ? 3-4000 km ?

You know one thing that BMW has always been good at is making cars that don't age quickly.... I mean, their cars have VERY long manufacturing runs... and you can easily rock say a early 90's 3 series, and it won't look all too dated by todays cars standards...
I think everyone today except for BMW and Nissa/Infinity are making some boring *** cars... especially from the domestic side... they all look the same. Audi/VW went with a new looks as well... I don't like it all too much on the VW's, but I think the look does well on the Audi's... Mercedes except for the CLS has nothing too special out there...
Toyota/Lexus? Forget it... they SCREAM boring...
Chrysler... well they're trying at least.. but I don't think they've ever heard of drag CO...
Ford... it's all ugly... the new stang is sorta coolish I guess but meh...
Chev... the C6 is funky... still not a fan of them using Ferrari headlights, but it's a very good car and I'll respect it for what it is... but the rest of Chevy's line up?
So as you can see styling is VERY subjective... But I on;y see a few companies trying something new... everyone else just stays in their old loop.

see to me that looks like a much bigger 5-6 year old Mercedes CLK .
which is not bad , it's still a kick *** car but ... i'd like to see innovation . Also the new W12 or something Cadillac is amaizing . But once again , it's just the domestics market ferrari attempt , 20 years later.

BTW if you don't know, the starter on the Northstar is in the V of the engine. Call a dealer and ask how much it costs to replace the starter. 9 hours labour, and 300 in parts. Starter, intake gaskets, etc. The intake has to come off, just to get at the starter. Sure the engine has lots of power, but who's retarded idea was that?

ever changed a wiper motor on a altama? you would think they built the car around it.BTW im good friends with a guy that works at classic honda not one of those techs drive hondas eather. The STS is not a cheap car and it makes sense most factory workers wont own one. The n* is a reliable engine we had one in the shop that was torn apart after a 500,000km wreck. The damn motor was so clean inside and showed every little wear it was insane I bet it was good for another 200k at least.
