Second...ill admit the penalty kick vs portugal was not justified but im sorry portugal didnt deserve ...they played horrible...bully style of soccer...too aggressive physically...and way too much acting...no team had soo much bullshitting as portugal except ronaldo vs france
I admit the game was lousy for the most part im happy with the end result i wish it would have been justifiable win but what zidane did was unjust no matter what was said such a sad end of such a great career this is what his name shall be remembered as which is very sad...but the penalty kick early in the game...Bullshit i thought we were to have a similar fait as portugal but it later went in our favour...Buffon UNBELIEVABLE goaltender cant take anything from him hes the reason we are what we are...cannavaro great defensemen we're a defensive team and did as we must...I say alot of teams did very well in the tournament and hats off to all my biggest respect show to ghana...played with heart no matter what utmost class with everything they did they should be very proud of themselves...beating out US and Czech was no easy accomplish Congrats to all

Materazzi called Zidane a "dirty ". Zidane is Algerian-born and immigrated to France when he was much younger.
Racial slurs justify violence against the slurrer. If someone from another country called me a white cracker or something offensive I'd do far worse than head butt him.
Notice how he went over to the ref totally level headed and spoke to him and the ref nodded his head. That was Zidane telling the ref exactly what happened.

Italy was not exactly playing freindly either.
But watever i guess they won its too late for stubid arguments, its not gona change anything
