Snowed last wednesday night when I had to drive back... luckily wasnt too bad, but enough for mn to salt the roads apparantly . Looked at a car on thanksgiving, probably getting it next saturday. Maro is finally getting parked

My parents found a black 97 ford escort back at home. 78k, manual, clean. 3500. Only thing I dont like about it is that someone put some gay 'rims' on it haha... but thats not why Im buying the car, so I dont really care, they just look stupid. Not a bad deal, so I think they started some of the paperwork for it yesterday, and Im just going down to sign and get used to manual for a day, then the maro goes away. Im really gonna miss driving it , it will be weird.

Yes it is weird not driving the Camaro but there's nothing like not having to worry about it. I love not having to worry if someone is going to break into it, if the wheels are going to get messed up in the salt, and it's extremely nice putting much fewer miles on it and the miles you do put on it are fun miles. Not hard driving to and from work miles which take the life out of the car.

Beater cars are fun. I used to drive my beater car like I stole it. This was years ago but I had a 91 Nissan Stanza- 2.4 4 cyc 5-speed. In the 12 months that I owned it I never changed the oil once- just added oil. Drove it very hard and it wouldn't die.

My advice is get an import car- the motors will last forever and even if you take marginal care of it, it will last many miles.

I like the holidays, time with the family. Wife gets vacation time etc
